TransPorter swabs are sterile ready-to-use systems intended for the collection, transport and preservation of clinical specimens for bacteriological examinations.
Liquid Stuart transport medium's ingredients include sodium glycerophosphate, calcium chloride, mercaptoacetic acid and distilled water.
Swabs are in direct contact with fluid-filled sponge, which acts as a moisture reservoir for the 1 mL of liquid transport media that is designed to stay in place during use.
Double tip swab comes enclosed in a translucent tube which comes with a red double-action security cap.
