Caloratherm. The Caloratherm mobile phase conditioner is designed to actively preheat mobile phase before entering a column that is placed in a HPLC column heater. Matching the mobile phase temperature to the column temperature is very important in obtaining narrow peak widths when performing HPLC analysis. In order to optimize efficiency, the Caloratherm preheater senses the temperature of incoming mobile phase before entering the column, this allows the temperature to be monitored and the appropriate amount of power can be input to reach the desired set point. A single device is suitable to accommodate controlled heating for a wide range of flows and mobile phase compositions over a large range of temperatures.
